Fees and funding

There are a number of sources of funding available to help you finance your studies.

Financial assistance

There are a variety of other funding sources available. You might be able to receive:

  • Sponsorship from your employer
  • The YIAG bursary
  • Refer a friend reward
  • Queen Mary alumni loyalty scholarship
  • Postgraduate loan

The YIAG bursary

The Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG) bursary is available to all Queen Mary Online International Dispute Resolution LLM, PGDip and PGCert students who are a member of the YIAG. The YIAG is an association for practitioners, students and younger members of the arbitration community that's sponsored by the London Court of International Arbitration.

Refer a friend

If you are currently studying with Queen Mary Online, and you refer a friend who successfully enrols, you and your friend will both receive a reduction on your full tuition fee:

  • MA/MSc/LLM - £500 tuition discount to you, £500 tuition discount to your friend
  • PGDip - £300 tuition discount to you, £300 tuition discount to your friend
  • PGCert - £200 tuition discount to you, £200 tuition discount to your friend

Terms & Conditions:

Your friend has to successfully enrol, pay their first instalment and complete the first 14 days of study, on which you will qualify for your reward. Reward amount received is dependent on your friend's course level, not your own. Discounts or bursaries may be applied to the Tuition Fee in accordance with the terms advertised on the Financial Assistance web page.

Queen Mary alumni loyalty scholarship 

Students who are alumni of Queen Mary University of London are eligible for a 10% discount on tuition fees. If an alumni student has any other discounts, the alumni loyalty scholarship is calculated after all other discounts are applied first.

To apply:

  • Submit your application to the course by the deadlines specified
  • Indicate the year you graduated and the course in your personal statement
